Messianic Psalms:

A Messianic psalm is a psalm in which contain aspects (or prophecies) of the first or second advent of Messiah are portrayed. Some Messianic psalms speak of the first coming, some of the second. "Psalm 2 speaks of His coming reign; Psalm 22 describes His crucifixion; Psalm 16 speaks of His resurrection; Psalm 110 pictures the Savior at the right hand of the Father in heaven and as a Priest according the order of Melchizekek."
[Radmacher, 722]

Messianic Psalms: 2, 16, 22, 24, 45, 55, 69, 72, 87, 110, 116, 132

Royal Psalms:

Royal psalms are messianic, but messianic are broader than the royal psalms. Royal psalms emphasize God as King or that the Lord reigns. For example, Psalm 2 is a royal psalm. It was meant to be sung at the coronation of the King of Judah and each descendant of David. This psalm was for each kings coronation.  Psalms 93 and 97 emphasize 'the Lord reigns.'

Royal Psalms: 2, 20, 21, 23, 24, 29, 45, 47, 61, 63, 72, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 101, 110, 132
